new month, new life

going to put the haiku on hold at least for today. since it is the first day of a new month i thought i'd share a little music. this is the very first record i ever owned. in fact i believe i was just a baby when my parents got it for me. i can remember playing it over and over in our little sunroom on the giant magnavox console stereo. it was so big that i would sometimes open one of the sliding doors, take out some of the records and climb inside to listen.
the album is obviously called "life" and is very late 60's-early 70's christian rock. i can't really explain the sound. it's very groovy. lots of big horn, electric guitar and flute arrangements. (check out side one's "a phony") anyway, i love it. especially all of the in between narration where these hip young kids are trying to keep it real with an unbelieving world.
so here's the link, and stay real. life's too short.
